Mid / Senior Laravel & AI Engineer

About the role

An experienced, AI-driven Laravel developer is sought to join a technology team. The ideal candidate has strong backend development skills and practical experience using modern AI coding tools and agentic AI workflows to speed up software development.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Valid Kuwait residency (Iqama).
• Ability to write scalable, secure, maintainable and high-performance code.
• Good problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.
• Must have delivered at least one end-to-end AI-assisted or vibe-coded application or project, with demonstrable work.

Required skills

• Laravel and PHP, including clean architecture and advanced backend development.
• MySQL performance optimization, query optimization, indexing, database design and high-volume transactions.
• Claude Code, including agentic workflows, custom agents, sub-agents, MCP integrations and AI-assisted development.
• Understanding of AI tools, LLMs, AI agents and modern AI development workflows.
• Preferred: fintech, banking or payment gateway experience; payment integrations, APIs and transaction processing; AWS, Docker, Redis, queues and distributed systems; real-world AI agent implementations.
