About the role

The Occupational Therapist I provides autonomous, accountable care to a complex patient population within the Occupational Therapy department. This day‑shift position works 7:15 am to 4:15 pm, delivering therapeutic services that support patient recovery and functional independence.

Key responsibilities

Assess patients’ occupational performance and develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor progress toward goals.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with departmental standards.
Participate in department meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
Current Arkansas State Board license or temporary graduate license.
Less than one year of professional experience is acceptable.
Commitment to maintaining Level I career ladder requirements.
CPR certification (can be obtained after hire).
