Occupational Therapist I

About the role
The Occupational Therapist I provides autonomous, accountable care to a complex patient population within the Occupational Therapy department. This day‑shift position works 7:15 am to 4:15 pm, delivering therapeutic services that support patient recovery and functional independence.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patients’ occupational performance and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor progress toward goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with departmental standards.
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Arkansas State Board license or temporary graduate license.
- Less than one year of professional experience is acceptable.
- Commitment to maintaining Level I career ladder requirements.
- CPR certification (can be obtained after hire).
