Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kuwait City. Reporting to senior leadership, the role oversees day‑to‑day operational activities across Al Wazzan Group’s business units, ensuring efficiency, safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor workflows, performance against targets and process improvements.
• Supervise teams, allocate resources and manage vendor and partner relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regional regulations and internal standards.
• Collaborate with finance, HR and other support functions on budgeting, reporting and resource planning.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce costs and support the group’s growth objectives.

Required profile

• Strong operations management experience, including process optimisation and performance monitoring.
• Proven team leadership and cross‑functional collaboration in complex, multi‑business environments.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting and use of productivity tools or ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, resource allocation and cost‑control practices.
• Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Relevant experience in operations or management roles, preferably within diversified sectors such as automotive, retail, real estate or services.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced environment in Kuwait City and adapt to changing business needs.
• Knowledge of regional regulations and compliance requirements in Kuwait and the GCC.
