About the role
The Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the American University of Kuwait seeks a part‑time Adjunct Instructor to teach introductory undergraduate psychology courses.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one to two undergraduate psychology courses each semester.
- Demonstrate excellence in teaching and employ evidence‑based instructional practices.
- Support the university’s mission and collaborate with faculty and staff.
- Participate in curriculum development, assessment activities, and departmental academic life.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology (e.g., Clinical, Counseling, Developmental, I/O, General) from an accredited institution in an English‑speaking higher‑education system.
- Local resident of Kuwait.
- Experience teaching in a liberal‑arts environment is highly desirable.
