Part‑Time Field IT Support Engineer (Dispatch/On‑Need)

About the role

SkySys is looking for a part‑time Field IT Support Engineer to provide on‑site assistance on a dispatch/on‑need basis at two locations in Kuwait. You will be called when a ticket is raised, given at least 24 hours notice, and expected to resolve hardware, software or network issues during regular business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Attend 1‑2 on‑site visits per month to troubleshoot and resolve end‑user tickets.
• Install, configure, and repair desktops, laptops, printers and other peripherals.
• Perform basic LAN/WAN troubleshooting and support smart‑hands activities.
• Maintain compliance with hardware warranties and customer security policies.
• Document actions and communicate status with the remote support team.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of hands‑on field IT infrastructure support.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lb.
• Own laptop for remote guidance during visits.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent and CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
