Part‑Time Field IT Support Engineer (Dispatch/On‑Need)

About the role

SkySys is looking for a part‑time Field IT Support Engineer to provide on‑site dispatch support for two locations in Kuwait. You will be called when a ticket is raised, given at least 24 hours notice, and expected to troubleshoot and resolve hardware or software issues during business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to on‑site tickets (1‑2 visits per month) and resolve hardware, software, and OS problems.
• Perform Smart Hands activities such as connecting peripherals, networking equipment, and data‑center hardware.
• Install, configure, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Support basic LAN/WAN setups and assist with network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, RDP).
• Document incidents and contribute to repeat‑call analysis and preventive actions.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of hands‑on field IT infrastructure support.
• Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lb and travel to client sites.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Own laptop for remote guidance during visits.
• Preferably an Associate Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ certification.
