About the role

The Patient Care Tech I supports patients and families on the 2nd Floor Rehab unit by providing basic care, monitoring, and hygiene assistance. Working closely with the care team, the role requires strong compassion, clear communication, and a proactive attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients and families with daily care activities, hygiene, and monitoring.
• Ensure all aspects of patient care are completed accurately.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team.
• Maintain flexibility to work varied hours as needed.

Required profile

• Completion of 12 college credit hours, including English Composition (C grade or higher) and overall GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Transcripts will be verified upon application.
• Healthcare or service‑industry experience preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Ability to learn new healthcare skills and collaborate consistently with the care team.

Required skills

• CPR certification (provided through employer training).
