Patient Care Tech I – Night Shift on 3rd Floor Rehab

About the role

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides essential bedside support to patients and their families on the 3rd Floor Rehab unit during night hours. This role focuses on basic patient care, hygiene, monitoring, and ensuring a compassionate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients and families with daily care activities, hygiene, and monitoring.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and observations.
• Support the patient care team in delivering complete and timely care.
• Work flexible night‑shift hours (6:30 pm – 7:00 am) and meet the required 72 hours bi‑weekly schedule.

Required profile

• Completion of 12 college‑level credit hours, including English Composition (C or higher) and an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater (transcripts verified).
• Willingness to work flexible night hours.
• Strong organization, verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to learn and apply new healthcare‑related skills.
• Proactive problem‑solving and collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• CPR certification (provided by employer).
