Product Repair & Modifications Technician

About the role

The Boeing Company is seeking a Product Repair & Modifications Technician to join the C‑17 Globemaster III Integrated Sustainment Program at Al‑Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait. The role supports both flight‑line and back‑shop maintenance activities for Kuwait Air Force C‑17 aircraft, ensuring mission readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Perform organizational level maintenance including aircraft servicing, inspections, fault diagnosis, and component replacement on the flight line.
• Execute intermediate level tasks such as component repair, test set operation, battery charging, and scheduled periodic inspections in the back‑shop.
• Lead assembly, disassembly, modification, and overhaul of aerospace vehicle systems and components.
• Direct troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems and validate repairs through testing.
• Document procedures, test results, modifications, and inspection outcomes to ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of C‑17 maintenance experience.
• Ability to work on one of two shifts, Sunday through Thursday, with weekends and holidays as needed.
• U.S. citizenship required to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (interim or final) post‑start.
• Willingness to meet cultural requirements of Kuwait and satisfy local labor and immigration formalities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair of aerospace components.
• Ability to operate test equipment, perform bench testing, and conduct validation/verification testing.
• Strong documentation skills for repairs, modifications, and inspection records.
