Product Specialist – Diabetes Care

About the role

Abbott Diabetes Care is looking for a Product Specialist to promote the FreeStyle Libre continuous glucose monitoring system across Kuwait. This field‑based position focuses on building awareness, adoption and sales among endocrinologists, diabetes educators, general practitioners and other healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Promote FreeStyle Libre and related diabetes management solutions to targeted healthcare professionals.
• Execute sales and promotional activities in line with Abbott’s sales and marketing strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare accounts and stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
• Conduct scientific presentations, educational meetings and group sessions to enhance product awareness and clinical knowledge.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and report business activities in a timely manner.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Life Sciences or a related healthcare field.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device or healthcare industry.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work independently, manage territory activities and build strong customer partnerships.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively across different cultures.
