Professor of Accounting & Finance (Full, Associate or Assistant)

About the role

The School of Business at AIU seeks a full‑time faculty member in Accounting and Finance. The appointment can be at the rank of Full Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Accounting and Finance and develop technology‑enhanced curricula using AI tools and interactive platforms.
• Update course content to meet industry standards and accreditation requirements, supervise senior projects, and provide academic advising and mentorship.
• Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and assessment while promoting diversity, equity and inclusion.

Required profile

• PhD in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Analytics or a related field.
• Minimum five years of university teaching experience with demonstrated excellence in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Strong academic research record or professional industry expertise in a related business discipline.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural academic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with industry‑standard financial and accounting technologies such as Bloomberg.
• Strong English communication, advising and student‑engagement skills.
