Project Coordinator – Wood Joinery Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to manage wood joinery and interior fit‑out projects for a growing wood factory in Kuwait. The role involves overseeing projects from award through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor wood joinery and interior fit‑out projects from planning to handover.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and internal departments to ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, progress reports and documentation.
• Coordinate shop drawings, material approvals, production schedules and site installation activities.
• Track procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery to the factory and project sites.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and support corrective actions.
• Attend project meetings, prepare minutes and action plans.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and health & safety requirements.
• Support the Project Manager in planning, budgeting and contract administration.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in wood joinery, cabinetry, furniture manufacturing or interior fit‑out projects.
• Strong understanding of joinery production processes, shop drawings and installation procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD and project management software is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Valid driving licence preferred.
