Project Manager – Construction (Kuwait)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from contract award through final handover in Kuwait. The role ensures delivery within budget, schedule, quality, and HSE standards while maintaining client satisfaction and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all project phases, preparing and monitoring execution plans and schedules.
• Allocate responsibilities, supervise the project team, and track progress to ensure timely completion.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents; coordinate with engineering and technical offices.
• Oversee material submittals, procurement, and compliance with approved designs.
• Monitor budget, cost performance, purchase requests, progress payments, variations, claims, and change orders.
• Represent the company with owners and consultants, attend project meetings, and handle official correspondence.
• Manage engineers, supervisors, and site staff; coordinate with procurement, HR, finance, logistics, and stores.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System and HSE regulations; resolve quality observations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering progress, budget, schedule, risks, variations, and issues.
• Lead project closeout, handover documentation, snag list resolution, and delivery of as‑built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and other records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of construction and contracting experience, including at least 5 years as a Project Manager.
• Proven experience in the Kuwait market.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts (advantage).
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
