Psychology Teacher (KS5/A Level) – British International School, Kuwait

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Psychology Teacher to join a leading British international school in Salmiya, Kuwait for the academic year beginning August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver the Pearson Edexcel curriculum to KS5/A Level students, fostering critical thinking and a deep understanding of psychological concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Psychology lessons up to KS5/A Level following the Edexcel curriculum.
• Prepare engaging learning materials and resources that support student achievement.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their academic progress.
• Participate in departmental meetings, school events and professional development activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and adhere to safeguarding policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field plus PGCE/QTS from the UK.
• Minimum three years post‑qualification teaching experience.
• Proven experience teaching the Pearson Edexcel curriculum in a UK or British international school setting.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Valid police clearance/DBS and two professional references.
