Public Relations Manager – Kuwait

About the role

Keeta, an independent brand of Meituan, is expanding its presence in the Gulf region. We are looking for a Public Relations Manager to lead our brand reputation and communication strategy in Kuwait, translating global vision into locally relevant narratives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy for the Kuwaiti market, aligned with Keeta’s global guidelines.
• Craft culturally resonant stories that differentiate Keeta among local consumers and partners.
• Lead crisis communications, making rapid decisions to protect the brand’s reputation.
• Monitor regulatory and social trends to anticipate reputational risks and work with Legal and Compliance to build safeguards.
• Build and maintain relationships with top‑tier Kuwaiti media, KOLs, and influencers in both Arabic and English.
• Prepare senior leadership for media interviews and public speaking engagements.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to amplify product launches and campaigns.
• Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot to automate repetitive tasks and enhance data analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in public relations or corporate communications.
• Deep knowledge of the Kuwaiti market and media landscape.
• Proven experience in technology, internet, or highly regulated sectors (e.g., finance, logistics).
• Native‑level Arabic and fluent English; Mandarin is a plus.
