About the role
We are seeking a motivated Purchasing and Logistics Officer to join our team in Shuwaikh. The role combines procurement responsibilities with logistics coordination to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end purchasing activities, including supplier selection, price negotiation and issuance of purchase orders.
- Track deliveries, monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stockouts.
- Arrange transportation, shipment schedules and oversee import/export documentation.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and internal departments to align logistics operations with production needs.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing transactions and logistics activities in ERP systems.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field such as supply chain, business administration or engineering.
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement or logistics, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using ERP systems for procurement and logistics management.
