Purchasing Coordinator – Five Star Hotel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to support the procurement function of a five‑star hotel. The role focuses on managing food and beverage purchases, ensuring cost‑effective sourcing while maintaining the high quality standards expected in luxury hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily purchasing activities for the hotel’s food and beverage department.
• Maintain and update vendor records, negotiate terms, and monitor supplier performance.
• Prepare and analyse purchase orders, invoices and inventory reports.
• Collaborate with kitchen, restaurant and finance teams to forecast demand and optimise stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, budget limits and local procurement regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in food & beverage purchasing within a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to manage multiple vendor relationships simultaneously.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Reporting tools or techniques to track purchasing performance.
