QA/QC Mechanical Inspector – Shipyard Projects

About the role

The QA/QC Mechanical Inspector will support the MEW Power Stations & Water Distillation project in Kuwait, focusing on boiler and piping inspections. The role involves ensuring that all mechanical components meet the required quality standards and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections and verify drawings against physical components.
• Conduct calibration of measurement equipment and operate CMM machines.
• Apply NDT methods, tolerancing, material testing and weld inspection on boiler and piping systems.
• Execute metrology checks, quality audits, root‑cause analysis and statistical process control.
• Maintain accurate inspection documentation and support project reporting.

Required profile

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of QA/QC experience in shipyard, power station or water‑distillation projects.
• Proven experience with boiler and piping inspections.
