Quality Control Coordinator

About the role

The Quality Control Coordinator ensures that all food products manufactured in the commissary meet the highest safety and quality standards. This role involves overseeing hygiene procedures, conducting laboratory analyses, and driving continuous improvement in food safety practices.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain internal hygiene procedures and the ISO 22000 food safety management system.
• Receive raw materials and verify they meet agreed quality and safety standards.
• Conduct daily quality inspections and microbiological laboratory analyses of products.
• Test food contact surfaces and monitor cleaning and sanitation effectiveness.
• Provide training on food safety, GMPs, allergen control and ensure proper corrective actions for any deviations.

Required profile

• University degree in Veterinary Medicine, Microbiology, Food Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in food safety, laboratory testing or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work under pressure.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 certification knowledge.
• HACCP principles and food safety standards.
• Microbiological analysis and laboratory testing techniques.
• Sanitation procedures and hygiene monitoring.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
