Quality Specialist – Food Safety & Quality

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Specialist to ensure that all incoming and outgoing materials, as well as production processes, meet the highest food safety and quality standards. Based in Kuwait, you will act as a champion of quality across the entire production cycle, from purchasing to customer delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the full production cycle to verify compliance with Food Safety & Quality standards.
• Approve incoming materials by conducting visual and measurement tests and reject non‑conforming items.
• Validate in‑process production, communicate required adjustments, and maintain detailed testing records.
• Monitor equipment safety and maintenance, reporting any deficiencies.
• Select output samples and perform dimensional, functional, and specification checks.
• Deliver staff training on food safety and quality procedures.
• Support development and implementation of a food safety & quality management system.
• Investigate customer complaints, prepare corrective action plans, and report findings to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a quality controller or similar role in catering or hotel industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry or related field.
• HACCP certification – at least Level 03.
• Familiarity with Kuwait municipality/MOH regulations.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Currently residing in Kuwait.

Required skills

• HACCP Level 03 certification.
• Operation of quality testing machines and systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
