Reservations Agent (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

The Reservations Agent (Arabic Speaker) will handle all reservation inquiries for our Courtyard hotel in Kuwait City. This full‑time position involves assisting guests by phone, fax or email, ensuring accurate bookings and delivering excellent service in Arabic and English.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes and cancellations received via phone, fax or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability and rates, and explain guarantee, special rate and cancellation policies.
• Enter reservation data into the hotel’s reservation system, including special codes for complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates and wholesale bookings.
• Document and accommodate special requests, answer questions about hotel facilities and services, and follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Escalate guest concerns according to proper procedures and maintain confidentiality of guest and company information.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain a professional appearance and support a positive team environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience required; ability to learn reservation procedures.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, with clear and professional communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
