About the role
The Sales Manager will work closely with the Director of Sales to develop and execute the hotel’s sales strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, maintaining competitive advantage, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Sales in establishing sales plans and budgets that reflect company and hotel goals.
- Maintain and upgrade communication networks to secure a competitive edge in information and sales leads.
- Conduct market analysis and devise strategies to generate new business.
- Analyze sales results, identify issues, and recommend improvements.
- Prepare and deliver monthly sales reports on time.
- Achieve budgeted room‑night quotas and average rates as set in the annual business plan.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior sales leadership.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience in a similar role, preferably within a 5‑star hotel environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Positive attitude toward challenges and a strong drive to excel.
- Professional disposition with strong interpersonal abilities.
