Sales Representative (Retail)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join our retail team. You will be the face of the store, delivering excellent customer service while driving sales and maintaining a professional store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance and promote a positive company image.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Work flexible shift patterns, including rotating overtime.
• Report policy violations, theft attempts, and safety issues to supervisors.
• Handle stock‑take activities, monitor inventory levels, and prevent out‑of‑stock or near‑expiry situations.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs; propose ideas to increase sales and market share.
• Greet customers, assist them, and use cross‑selling and up‑selling techniques.
• Process cashier duties, manage discounts, and ensure accurate completion of forms and applications.
• Maintain and secure store assets, promotional materials and product displays.
