Science Teacher – International School in Kuwait

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join an Outstanding‑rated international school in Kuwait for the academic year starting August 2026. The role is open to both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers (ECT) who wish to complete their induction in a supportive expatriate community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess secondary Science lessons in line with the National Curriculum of England.
• Prepare students for A‑Level examinations and foster a love of scientific inquiry.
• Collaborate with a multicultural faculty to develop interdisciplinary projects.
• Maintain accurate records, report student progress and contribute to staff meetings.

Required profile

• Degree and PGCE or QTS obtained in the UK or Ireland.
• Teaching experience in a UK/Ireland secondary school, preferably with A‑Level Science.
• Eligibility to work in Kuwait and willingness to relocate.
• Open to single or married applicants without dependents.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the English National Science Curriculum.
• Ability to design practical laboratory activities.
• Effective classroom management and assessment techniques.
