Senior Accountant

About the role

Enhanced Engineering & Multi-Technologies Company (EEMC) is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Kuwait. The role will support the company's engineering and contracting operations by ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing month‑end and year‑end close processes, and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Produce error‑free accounting reports and present results.
• Utilize ERP for financial reporting, analysis and workflow improvement.
• Assist with annual audit preparations.
• Maintain and reconcile balance‑sheet and general‑ledger accounts.
• Ensure integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions.
• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the contracting or engineering industry.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Team‑oriented mindset with flexibility and adaptability.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics ERP or similar ERP system.
• Proficiency with ERP financial reporting and analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Competence in Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with financial reporting software.
