Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in monthly closing, forecasting, budgeting, and customer billing, and will bring an analytical mindset to every task.

Key responsibilities

• Report business transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Assist the team with month‑end close activities, including general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and closing procedures.
• Research and analyse expense variances and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Collaborate on the preparation of budgets, forecasts and variance analysis reports.
• Support financial planning and performance analysis to align with business strategy.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Monitor internal controls, recommend improvements, and oversee accounts receivable.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects, providing financial insights for business development.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Bilingual in Arabic and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• CFA designation preferred.
