Senior Assurance Manager

About the role

RSM in Kuwait is seeking a Senior Assurance Manager to lead statutory audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio. The role is based in the Sharq office and involves end‑to‑end audit delivery, client relationship management, and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and oversee statutory audit engagements in line with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and local regulations.
• Review audit working papers and financial statements prepared by the engagement team and discuss findings with partners.
• Supervise, coach and support audit managers, seniors and associates throughout the engagement cycle.
• Manage engagement budgets, timelines and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain day‑to‑day client contact and nurture long‑term relationships.
• Monitor developments in IFRS, ISA and industry regulations and apply them to audit work.
• Identify audit and business risks and communicate them promptly to partners.
• Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and client meetings.
• Contribute to the training and professional development of audit staff.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in statutory audit, preferably with exposure to multiple industries.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a Big Four firm is an advantage.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
