Senior Construction Accountant – Odoo ERP Expert (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Construction Accountant to join our finance team on a 100% remote basis. The role focuses on managing the full accounting lifecycle for construction projects, leveraging deep expertise in Odoo ERP to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile project‑level accounting records, including progress billings, subcontractor certificates, and variation orders.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements, cost‑control reports, and year‑end closing packages.
• Analyze cash flow, monitor budgets, and provide variance analysis for multiple construction contracts.
• Utilize Odoo ERP modules (Accounting, Invoicing, Purchase, Project) to automate workflows and improve data integrity.
• Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership to support strategic financial decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience within the construction/contracting industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, CMA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a secure high‑speed internet connection.

Required skills

• Advanced, hands‑on proficiency with Odoo ERP (Accounting, Invoicing, Purchase, Project modules).
