Senior ESB Developer - Kuwait

About the role

A Senior ESB Developer position in Kuwait focuses on designing, developing and implementing enterprise integration solutions using Software AG WebMethods. The role works closely with architects, business analysts and other developers to deliver scalable integration solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement integration solutions using Software AG WebMethods (Integration Server, Universal Messaging, Designer, API Gateway, Terracotta, etc.)
• Develop and manage APIs, services and interfaces supporting enterprise-wide integration
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts and developers to define integration requirements and design scalable solutions
• Optimize and troubleshoot integration workflows, ensuring reliability, performance and security
• Support deployment activities, perform code reviews and follow best practices in integration development
• Document technical solutions and support production systems as required

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in ESB or integration development, including at least 5+ years of hands-on WebMethods work
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field preferred
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills

Required skills

• WebMethods Integration Server, Designer, API Gateway, Universal Messaging and adapters (JDBC, SAP, flat file)
• API development, SOAP/REST services, XML, JSON and web services standards
• Enterprise integration patterns and middleware concepts
• DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines and Git/Jenkins are a plus
• Certification in Software AG WebMethods is a plus; cloud integration (AWS, Azure, GCP) or microservices experience is also preferred
