Senior Hostess - Restaurant Group, Kuwait

About the role

Hudson Manpower is hiring an experienced Senior Hostess for a well-known restaurant group in Kuwait. The role covers the host desk, guest relations and coordination with the floor manager and service team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet, seat and farewell guests, recognize VIPs and regular guests, and coordinate personalized service
• Manage reservations, special requests, guest profiles and reservation notes
• Handle seating plans, waitlists, queues and table availability, coordinating with the Floor Manager and service team
• Guide and coach junior hostesses and front-of-house staff, allocate host-desk duties and monitor performance
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints and service recovery, and maintain guest interaction and complaint records
• Coordinate guest information with managers and service staff, and support promotions, guest loyalty and revenue objectives
• Prepare reports on guest feedback, VIP activity and service trends, complete shift handovers and keep the host area ready for the next shift

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years in restaurant hosting, guest relations, hospitality or a similar customer-facing role; supervisory experience preferred
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred
• Fluent Arabic and English; additional languages are an advantage
• Minimum height 165 cm, fit appearance and professional grooming
• Confident, presentable and warm personality with strong guest-relations and interpersonal skills

Required skills

• Reservation management, waitlist handling and complaint resolution
• Comfortable with reservation systems, tablets, QR feedback tools and MS Office
• Leadership skills to guide junior staff
