Senior Manager – AI & Technology

About the role

Senior Manager – AI & Technology will lead the creation of an AI function for a GCC-based group operating in food & beverage and hospitality, shaping the technology roadmap and driving AI adoption across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Build the AI function from the ground up, including roadmap, platforms, processes, governance and team structure.
• Design, build and integrate AI platforms and solutions across operations, customer experience, marketing, finance, procurement, supply chain and corporate functions.
• Identify and implement use cases involving Generative AI, AI automation, intelligent agents and emerging technologies, taking initiatives from concept/POC through implementation and scale.
• Drive company‑wide AI adoption, measure business impact, and collaborate with department leaders, technology partners and vendors to track ROI, efficiency, cost savings and operational improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in technology, AI, digital transformation or innovation, preferably within F&B, retail or hospitality.
• Proven ability to build and integrate AI platforms and solutions, not just manage strategy or external vendors.
• Strong understanding of modern AI technologies and their business applications, with experience taking solutions from idea/POC through implementation, integration and adoption.
• Leadership and stakeholder‑management skills to establish an AI function/team from scratch and drive adoption across multiple business departments.
