Senior Sales Engineer – Data Cloud Solutions

About the role
Cohesity is seeking a senior sales engineer to partner with account executives on enterprise engagements. The role focuses on helping customers adopt Cohesity’s AI‑powered data security and management platform across backup, recovery, cyber‑resilience and data security management.
Key responsibilities
- Drive new and expansion opportunities by presenting Cohesity’s Data Cloud portfolio to both business and technical audiences.
- Provide end‑to‑end technical support throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, demos and proofs of concept.
- Collaborate with account executives to shape technical strategy, contribute to deal progression and develop win strategies.
- Lead technical engagements such as product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, proposals and evaluations.
- Identify customer requirements and risk areas, crafting proofs of concept that showcase Cohesity’s value in cyber‑resilience.
- Assist in competitive displacement discussions by understanding customer environments and positioning Cohesity effectively.
- Relay customer feedback to product management, engineering and support to influence product improvements.
Required profile
- Proven experience in enterprise‑level sales engineering or pre‑sales consulting.
- Strong ability to engage with a wide range of technical and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capacity to act as a trusted technical advisor.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Required skills
- Deep knowledge of data security, data protection and cloud technologies.
- Experience with backup, recovery, and cyber‑resilience solutions.
- Ability to design and deliver technical demos and proofs of concept.
