Senior Store Manager – Retail

About the role

The Senior Store Manager leads a Marks & Spencer store in Kuwait, ensuring operational excellence, full P&L responsibility and strict brand compliance. The role creates a high‑performance environment that delivers exceptional customer service and commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales performance by analysing figures, identifying opportunities and challenging the team to improve conversion, basket size and units per transaction.
• Maintain brand compliance and visual merchandising standards, ensuring product presentation, ticketing and VM elements highlight merchandise across the store.
• Oversee layout, events and seasonal launches to create an aspirational shopping environment and maximise commercial impact.
• Manage stock by reviewing top‑selling lines, ensuring appropriate availability of key product ranges and mitigating stock risks.
• Uphold service standards, role‑modeling exceptional customer service and actively seeking feedback to improve the store experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail store management with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong leadership skills to foster a team environment aligned with brand values.
• Ability to analyse sales data and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent understanding of visual merchandising, stock management and service standards.
