Senior Vice President, Corporate & Institutional Banking

About the role

The Senior Vice President will lead QNB’s Corporate and Institutional Banking division, ensuring optimal management of the country’s corporate bank business, aligning revenue potential with cost‑effective, low‑risk strategies, and driving the portfolio in line with QNB’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Act within delegated authority and delegate to department heads, monitoring execution.
• Implement QNB’s approved strategy to achieve short‑ and long‑term business goals efficiently.
• Oversee development and implementation of annual plans for corporate banking functions to meet growth targets.
• Approve and adjust key performance indicators to monitor assets, liabilities and performance.
• Drive adoption of market best practices across the Corporate and Institutional Banking department to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
• Review and analyse monthly management accounts, including balance sheet and income statement versus budget.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate banking leadership, preferably at senior executive level.
• Proven ability to manage large teams and coordinate multiple departmental functions.
• Strong understanding of banking risk, revenue generation and cost‑control.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving growth and profitability targets.
