Showroom Supervisor

About the role

The Showroom Supervisor is responsible for driving sales, profitability and smooth store operations while developing the team. You will lead a retail team to deliver high‑level customer service, meet preset business targets and maintain a safe, well‑organized showroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach staff to achieve location sales targets, including cash, credit, warranties and accessories.
• Implement promotional activities and ensure merchandise is correctly priced, displayed and stocked according to planograms.
• Plan work schedules, manage break periods, sick leaves and vacations, and monitor manpower against budget.
• Maintain security measures, handle cash deposits, reconcile cash and deposits, and ensure all licences and documents are up‑to‑date.
• Conduct inventory counts, send perpetual counts monthly, and oversee stock level coordination with relevant departments.
• Prepare and submit operational reports to the Sales Manager, monitor cost‑control measures and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Provide continuous coaching, performance appraisals and development plans for the team.
• Ensure a safe, clean workplace and promote employee awareness of safety and emergency procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising retail staff and achieving sales targets.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage schedules, inventory and store budgets.
• Commitment to fostering a friendly work environment and employee development.
• Attention to detail for merchandising, security and compliance requirements.
