Sr. Bid Specialist

About the role

The Sr. Bid Specialist supports the Bid Manager in delivering high‑quality proposals for complex, competitive tenders across the Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Consultancy sectors. Working closely with technical, commercial and functional teams, you will help shape winning strategies and ensure seamless hand‑over to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial schedules, cost build‑ups and supporting documentation under the direction of the Bid Manager.
• Analyse scope, workload, risks and market conditions to support Go/No‑Go decisions.
• Coordinate bid team activities, deadlines and deliverables, ensuring effective collaboration.
• Gather inputs from technical, commercial and functional stakeholders to produce complete, high‑quality proposal content.
• Work with Marketing and Graphic Design to ensure proposals are visually clear and brand‑aligned.
• Draft and review proposal sections such as methodologies, management approaches, CVs and execution plans.
• Maintain governance, approvals and internal processes throughout the bid lifecycle.
• Identify and log bid risks, support mitigation planning and track issues.
• Review RFPs/ITTs, create compliance matrices and trackers, and validate labour rates and estimates.
• Support post‑submission clarifications and hand‑over to Operations.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in bid/proposal management within Architecture, Engineering, Construction or Consultancy.
• Proven track record on large, multi‑stakeholder tenders, preferably in the Middle East.
• Graduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business or related field.
• Relevant professional memberships or certifications.
