Stock Controller & Storekeeper

About the role

The Stock Controller & Storekeeper will work on‑site in Shuwaikh, overseeing the receipt, storage, and movement of construction materials and related products. The role ensures accurate inventory records, supports the purchasing and sales teams, and maintains a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain stock levels of construction materials.
• Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials.
• Update inventory records and prepare regular stock reports.
• Coordinate with purchasing, sales, logistics and suppliers to ensure smooth supply‑chain operations.
• Manage daily stock movements, conduct regular stock counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Support loading and unloading activities while adhering to health and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and efficient warehouse environment.

Required profile

• Experience in stock control, storekeeping or warehouse operations, preferably in construction materials or trading companies.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems or ERP software and basic computer skills (Excel, email, data entry).
• Strong numerical ability, attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with various departments and suppliers.
• Physical ability to lift, move and organize stock safely.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices for storage and handling of building materials.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in warehousing or logistics is an advantage.
• Prior experience in Kuwait or GCC markets is beneficial.
