Structural Engineer

About the role

Prosys, an engineering firm based in Kuwait, is seeking a full‑time Structural Engineer to join its on‑site team in Kuwait City. You will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient and cost‑effective structural solutions for commercial and residential projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and prepare structural drawings, details and technical specifications.
• Perform structural calculations, analysis and design verification.
• Review and approve structural designs prepared by other engineers.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP and other engineering disciplines.
• Attend meetings and liaise with contractors during the construction stage.
• Prepare structural Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Supervise on‑site execution ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and enforce design requirements.
• Manage, organize and upload project files using OneDrive and MS Teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design and site supervision.
• Membership in the Kuwait Society of Engineers (if applicable).
• Proven experience in construction supervision, site inspections and multidisciplinary coordination.

Required skills

• Proficiency with structural design software.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience using OneDrive and MS Teams for document management.
