Survey Inspector

About the role

Egis Group is seeking a Survey Inspector to join its port construction project in Kuwait. The role involves overseeing site surveys, ensuring quality and safety, and supporting project delivery through technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed site surveys and inspections throughout all phases of the port construction.
• Perform design reviews and provide technical input to optimise project plans and specifications.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards and safety regulations.
• Utilise advanced survey equipment and techniques to collect and analyse data for planning and progress monitoring.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports with findings, recommendations and supporting documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in survey inspection, preferably in port or marine construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with advanced survey equipment and techniques.
• Expertise in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of GIS software (preferred).
