Talent Acquisition Officer

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Officer will support the end‑to‑end recruitment process for stc Kuwait, partnering with business units to identify vacancies, create job postings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews and manage offers.

Key responsibilities

• Review applications and provide comments to the Talent Acquisition Manager to identify the best‑fit candidates.
• Screen and shortlist applicants, conducting preliminary interviews where applicable.
• Draft employment offer letters and contracts, and issue engagement advice to selected candidates.
• Conduct primary resume screening based on criteria provided by business functions.
• Negotiate proposed salaries with candidates in collaboration with business heads and the compensation team.
• Conduct new employee orientation and explain benefit options.
• Develop tools and processes for selecting and recruiting talent at various levels.
• Enhance recruitment processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Create and promote an employer‑of‑choice brand across recruitment channels, universities and media partners.
• Maintain relationships with placement consultants, headhunters, recruitment websites and university placement offices.
• Maintain an updated candidate database for future recruitment campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 0‑1 year of relevant experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.
