About the role
GovCIO is seeking an experienced Task Order Lead to manage and oversee multiple defense‑related task orders in Kuwait. The role serves as the primary interface between the government Program Manager and the contractor workforce, ensuring compliance with host‑nation regulations and contract requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the single focal point for each awarded Task Order, coordinating with the Contracting‑Program Manager (C‑PM) and host‑nation sponsor.
- Ensure contractor personnel comply with local customs, laws, and entry/exit criteria, and maintain necessary credentials.
- Oversee workforce quality‑of‑life support services such as housing, transportation and communications.
- Monitor and enforce Task Order‑specific contractual requirements contained in the SOW or PWS.
- Provide management and oversight of the deployed workforce in executing Task Order objectives.
- Attend command‑level meetings at designated locations and support military policies.
- Report weekly and monthly metrics on personnel, cost, schedule and performance to the C‑PM.
- Assist the C‑PM in preparing proposals for contract modifications.
- Ensure personnel possess required education, experience and certifications.
- Submit travel, overtime and procurement requests, and provide trip reports as required.
- Notify the G‑PM and Contracting Officer Representative 72 hours prior to any personnel movement.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited university.
- Minimum 8 years of experience supervising personnel and managing complex technical programs, including budgetary responsibility and DOD customer interaction.
- At least 2 years of experience managing or supervising personnel in the Middle East.
- Secret security clearance.

What we offer
- Competitive salary range USD 108,310 – 140,703 per year.
- On‑site assignment in Kuwait with full support for housing and transportation.
