Technician – Progressive Cavity Pump (PCP)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Technician to install, commission, operate, and maintain Progressive Cavity Pump (PCP) equipment in an oilfield environment. The role involves ensuring safe and efficient handling of oilfield tools while adhering to industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, operation, and routine maintenance of PCP equipment.
• Handle and maintain oilfield tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of PCP systems, focusing on drive heads.
• Support inspection and replacement of key components such as rotors, stators, and drive heads.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues in PCP systems.
• Follow operational procedures aligned with oil & gas field standards and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Comply with HSE policies, procedures, and Permit to Work (PTW) requirements at all times.
• Participate in safety meetings and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Automobile or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in oilfield or mechanical maintenance.
