Trade Marketing Manager

About the role

The Trade Marketing Manager identifies growth opportunities across channels to drive top-line and market-share growth. The role covers consumer, trade and customer marketing activities aligned with GTRC's financial targets, and leads the marketing team while supporting sales operations on distribution, shelving, pricing and merchandising across all trade channels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and direct daily marketing team operations, setting clear roles and objectives.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to optimise productivity and resource use.
• Integrate sales insights into marketing activities.
• Engage with principals on trade marketing strategies such as promotions, pricing and product launches.
• Design and implement trade and consumer promotions to improve distribution and consumer engagement.
• Analyse market trends through retail audits and consumer data.
• Develop key account plans with the sales team and conduct quarterly reviews with major customers.
• Manage the Monthly Activity Cycle Meetings and coordinate annual and monthly A&P budgeting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field; master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years in sales or marketing within the FMCG sector.
• In-depth knowledge of business operations within Kuwait.
• Proven leadership skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Creative problem-solver with strong analytical capabilities.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is beneficial.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
