Vice President of Enrollment and Student Affairs

About the role

The Vice President of Enrollment and Student Affairs (VP‑ESA) is a senior executive responsible for leading the university’s strategy across the full student lifecycle, from prospect outreach to graduation. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, the VP‑ESA works closely with academic, finance, marketing and administrative units to drive enrollment growth, student success and institutional reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive enrollment strategy aligned with the university’s mission, growth plans and financial model.
• Set annual enrollment targets for undergraduate, graduate, transfer and international students and monitor performance against key KPIs.
• Lead market analysis, forecasting and data‑driven decision‑making to optimise recruitment outcomes.
• Oversee admissions operations, ensuring fair, transparent and compliant processes in line with Kuwait regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Expand domestic and international recruitment initiatives, partnerships and outreach programmes.
• Provide governance for student registration, course scheduling and enrollment systems, coordinating with academic departments to match course offerings with demand.
• Direct student life functions including orientation, engagement, counseling, housing, clubs, athletics and support services, fostering an inclusive campus environment.
• Develop institution‑wide strategies to improve retention, persistence and on‑time graduation, monitoring academic progress and early‑alert systems.
• Ensure compliance with governance, accreditation and regulatory standards.
