Waiter/Waitress – Banquet Service

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Waiter/Waitress to join the banquet team at a Dusit hotel. The role involves delivering high‑quality food and beverage service in a banquet setting, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate all activities in food & beverage service and bar to meet financial goals.
• Set up banquet functions under supervisor guidance and follow Dusit SOPs.
• Check and report on equipment, supplies, and any loss or breakage.
• Maintain fully stocked service stations with glassware, china, flatware and condiments.
• Know menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, portion sizes and presentation.
• Maintain sanitation standards and a clean, welcoming banquet environment.
• Control room temperature, ventilation, lighting and music.
• Communicate effectively with guests, supervisors and other sections.
• Pick up food and drinks from preparation areas and serve guests promptly.
• Attend daily briefings, meetings and required training sessions.
• Follow cost‑saving procedures for electricity and consumables.
• Clean and restock service stations at shift end.
• Provide wine service and bartending as needed.
• Operate audio‑visual equipment for events.

• Strong communication skills with guests and team members.

• Ability to handle guest complaints promptly and report to management.
• Understanding of confidentiality and data protection policies.
