Warehouse Specialist

About the role

The Warehouse Specialist is an experienced warehouse employee who knows warehouse processes well and needs little supervision. The person handles incoming vendor receipts, keeps components stored securely, responds quickly to material needs and coordinates shipments to customers, acting as a go-to resource for colleagues and supporting cross-departmental communication.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, ship, pick jobs and break down store orders, following procedures and keeping the workplace clean and organized
• Assist team members and substitute where needed to help meet team goals
• Maintain and develop Excel-based inventory, labeling forms, templates and trackers
• Carry out physical inventories as scheduled and run continuous improvement projects
• Analyze data on items such as part consumption rates and trends, and submit accurate reports to stakeholders
• Generate professional reports, including Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) reports
• Take ownership of smaller projects with minimal guidance and work independently

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations and/or material handling; manufacturing experience strongly desired
• Technical knowledge of M1A2, M1A2K and M88 vehicles for parts identification and management
• Valid U.S. passport, ability to pass a background investigation for a work visa and a deployment physical
• Prior work experience in the MENA region is desirable
• Ability to safely lift at least 40 lbs (18 kg)

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes, and obtaining a powered industrial equipment license
• Strong safety focus, PPE knowledge and adherence to safety policies
