Assistant Finance Manager

About the role

The Assistant Finance Manager will support the Finance Manager and CFO in shaping the company’s financial future, driving efficiency and ensuring sustainability across Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. This senior role combines strategic analysis, financial reporting, and ERP implementation to strengthen the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance and Talent teams to define system requirements, evaluate vendors and oversee ERP deployment.
• Develop and implement working‑capital management and capital‑allocation strategies.
• Enhance financial reporting processes to improve transparency and decision‑making.
• Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, regional tax laws and financial regulations in Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
• Lead selection and implementation of ERP systems to improve reporting and data management.
• Oversee accounting, treasury, tax and audit functions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and investment analysis.
• Strengthen internal control frameworks and mitigate financial risks.
• Partner with Operations, Legal and Talent teams to align financial objectives with business goals.
• Monitor cash flow to maintain liquidity and financial stability.
• Mentor and develop finance team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of finance or accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
• Experience in the AEC industry or a project‑based professional‑services environment.
• Proven track record in financial strategy, FP&A and financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations in Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
• Experience working with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams in a multi‑country setting.
