Cashier Manager – Retail Hypermarket

About the role

The CCO Manager is responsible for all cash transactions within the store, ensuring accuracy, compliance and best‑in‑class customer service. This role oversees cash flow, fraud prevention and team performance in a high‑traffic hypermarket environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all cash transactions within the store, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Ensure secure and timely cash transfers from the store to the bank while maintaining proper controls and documentation.
• Monitor compliance with CCO policies, procedures, and key insurance requirements, and implement fraud prevention controls.
• Oversee corrections, cancellations, price changes, and barcode accuracy to maintain transaction integrity.
• Supervise cash counter operations, improve team productivity, and resolve customer service issues.
• Lead, coach, and develop the CCO team through performance management, training, and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years experience in retail, customer service, or finance functions.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cash management, transaction control, and financial procedures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer‑service orientation with ability to handle concerns effectively.
