Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Assistant Manager to lead day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial close processes and statutory compliance across a family office and its group entities. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will ensure multi‑entity financial integrity while driving process improvements and ERP enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting functions (GL, AP, intercompany, fixed assets, bank reconciliations) for all group entities.
• Own monthly, quarterly and annual closing cycles, guaranteeing accuracy and timely delivery.
• Oversee payroll processing, HR finance coordination and compliance with labor and tax regulations.
• Prepare financial statements, management accounts and executive MIS packs for senior management and board reporting.
• Lead statutory audit coordination, tax computations and regulatory filings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring activities.
• Drive ERP enhancement initiatives, particularly on Microsoft Dynamics, to automate and standardise accounting processes.
• Maintain internal controls, SOPs and governance standards across multi‑entity structures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA or CMA) is mandatory.
• 4‑8 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including statutory audit management and multi‑entity reporting.
